Hi
What a sad story. The Transistor NMA1012 and NMC1012 were special made by Sanken for Sansui. They are also very very hard to find. I believe it's impossible. However, Sansui recommended for another Amp also original equipped with NMA1012/NMC1012 to used 2SC2607/2SA1116 as their substitutes.

Here's what I used, based on recommendations of much more experienced users:

I worked on RobV's BA-F1, and one channel had the Sanken 2SC2607/2SA1116's installed, as apparently it had been blown at one time.

The specs on the Sanken are pretty remarkable for a TO-3 device, 200V, 15A, 150W, and an ft of 20MHz(!). Not too shabby.

I performed every test I could think of trying to discern some difference between the channel with the original Sansui transistors, and the Sanken replacements. Distortion, bandwidth, square-wave tests, and hours of A/B listening between channels convinced me that the Sanken devices with excellent substitutes for the originals, and performed identically in every test I could throw at it.

Replace the transistors in one channel with the Sanken's. It'll be fine.
.....and that amp is definitely sweeter sounding than my other BA-F1. I am convinced that the highs are actually nicer on the one with the Sansui/Sanken trannies, for some reason. If I ever sell one, it won't be this one!

Αν ψάξεις στην σανκιν θα δείς οτι αυτα τα αντίστοιχα είναι καταργημένα και αν είδα καλά δίνει σαν αντίστοιχα των αντίστοιχων τα 2SC3857 και 2SA1493... δές και εσύ.
